For businesses considering a change

Thinking About Switching IT Providers?

A no-pressure guide. Whether you switch to us, switch to someone else, or stay where you are — the goal is to help you make the call with clear information.

Signals it might be time

None of these are deal-breakers on their own. Three or more probably means it's worth a conversation.

Surprise invoices and "unbillable" hours

You can’t predict what next month’s IT bill will be. We work fixed-fee per project. The number is in writing before we start.

Tickets escalate three tiers before anyone helpful answers

You talk to the person doing the work. No queue, no level-one tech reading from a script.

Your provider owns your domain, your hosting, or your tenant

You should own everything. We migrate you to accounts in your name, with you as primary admin, before any work begins.

They keep recommending the same vendor regardless of what you need

We’re vendor-agnostic. No commissions distorting our recommendations.

Their website was last redesigned in 2018

If their own site looks dated, they probably aren’t in the trenches with web technology. We are. Daily.

You signed a 36-month contract that you can’t get out of

Read the termination clause. We’ll help you scope what a clean exit looks like even if we’re not the next provider.

How a switch actually works

We do this every few weeks. The process is boring on purpose — surprises during a provider switch are bad surprises.

01

Discovery call (free, 15 min)

You tell us what’s frustrating, what’s working, and what your contract looks like. We tell you whether we can help and roughly what it costs.

02

Audit + ownership inventory

We audit your domains, DNS, email tenants, hosting accounts, password vaults, and any other infrastructure. We document who owns what right now — even if it’s your previous provider.

03

Ownership transfer

Domains transferred to your registrar. Hosting and SaaS accounts under your billing. Admin credentials in a vault you own. This happens BEFORE we touch anything else.

04

Cutover plan + Statement of Work

A fixed-fee, fixed-timeline plan to move you off your current provider with no service interruption. Signed before any execution.

05

Execute

We do the migration on your timeline, communicate at every step, and verify everything works before declaring done.

06

Hand-off documentation

Everything documented in plain English so your next admin (us, an internal hire, or anyone else) can pick up cleanly.

Not sure you're ready to switch?

That's fine. Most of our switching conversations don't lead to a switch — they lead to clarity. Sometimes the answer is “your current provider is doing the right things and the price is reasonable.” We'll tell you that, free of charge.

Sometimes the answer is “there are 2-3 things broken that you should ask them to fix before considering a change.” We'll give you that list, free.

The 15-minute discovery call has no catch. Worst case you waste 15 minutes. Best case you save thousands of dollars a year.

Let's Talk

Tell us what's frustrating about your current setup. We'll be honest about whether we can help.
